2. Visiting this website

Your browser sends technical information needed to deliver a page, such as your IP address, requested address, request time and browser information. This information is processed to deliver the website and maintain its security. Routine visitor access logging is not enabled in our reverse proxy or homepage application. Technical error diagnostics may be recorded when problems occur.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable, secure website. Homepage application diagnostic logs are rotated automatically, with a maximum of three files of 10 MB each; older entries are overwritten as that limit is reached. They are not used for visitor analytics.

3. Hosting and service providers

Our website runs on a Hostinger VPS located in Frankfurt, Germany. The hosting supplier shown on the service invoice is Hostinger PTE, 16 Raffles Quay, #33-02, Hong Leong Building, Singapore 048581.

Hosting and technical support may involve processing by Hostinger and its service providers outside the European Economic Area. A German server location does not exclude such access. Hostinger’s Data Processing Addendum describes its processing arrangements and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses used for applicable international transfers. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your personal data.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us, we process your email address, name and the information you choose to share to respond to your enquiry. Please do not send confidential technical or business information.

Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where necessary for steps towards a contract with you, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Email is handled through Hostinger. Its processing and international-transfer terms are described in the Data Processing Addendum linked above.

Our stated policy is to delete enquiry information six months after the enquiry or engagement concludes, unless an ongoing commercial relationship or statutory retention obligation requires longer storage. This is our retention policy, not a universal GDPR retention period.

5. Free-session registration

Registration opens the separate Donau Labs application at aiqa.donaulabs.com. Its registration privacy notice describes the information collected to prepare your session. No registration details are collected on this homepage.

6. Cookies, analytics and external content

The redesigned homepage and legal pages do not include advertising trackers, visitor analytics or optional cookies. Their images and styles are served locally, and fonts use your device’s system fonts. External sites are accessed only when you follow their links.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Contact info@donaulabs.com to exercise your rights. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred.

8. Providing information and automated decisions

You can view the homepage without providing contact details. Contacting us is voluntary; we need a way to reply if you want a response. The redesigned homepage does not make automated decisions about you or perform profiling.
